Accompanying datasets:
- Statistical tables (Microsoft Excel files) – accessible to all via UCL Research Data Repository
- SERL statistical dataset: available via UK Data Service (SN 8963)
- This is an aggregated but granular statistical dataset used to produce the SERL Stats report
- This dataset provides high-quality, high-resolution data that can be utilised for many research purposes without the restrictions that come with accessing the Controlled (secure access) Observatory dataset
- It is easily accessible to registered UKDS users via a simple end user license
- Simply register and create a UKDS account if you don’t already have one. Then add the Stats dataset to your account and sign the End User License
- Volume 1 & 2 data are currently available via SN 8963
- Volume 1 – 110,000 rows of data
- Volume 2 – over 2 million rows of data
- The Code to produce the SERL Stats Report and data is available via GitHub
Controlled SERL Observatory data: available via UK Data Service (SN 8666)
- This is the underlying, high-resolution dataset used to produce the statistical data
- This dataset is available to accredited researchers working on approved projects in a Trusted Research Environment
- See the SERL web page for more information on the application process to access the controlled Observatory dataset
- The latest edition is going through final UKDS catalogue processes and will be released within a few weeks via SN 8666
