SERL Director Simon Elam presented at the MAGC Edge Evaluation Research Seminar in Cape Town on 16th September 2025.
The presentation was entitled ‘Overall research design and global nature of the research’. Members of the Smart Energy Research Group at UCL are involved in the MAGC project which is researching Green Buildings in South Africa and has recently transitioned from its pilot phase into the main phase.
The event focused on the role of EDGE-certified buildings in South Africa, presenting key findings from the pilot phase and progress of the main phase, before discussions with the expert audience.
The SERG team are also involved in MAGC project work in Columbia and Indonesia.
