Materials from SERL’s 12th May webinar are now available. SERL’s UCL team gave the webinar to an audience consisting of 94 academics, policy makers, industry and public sector colleagues there to learn more about SERL and how to access the SERL data.

The seminar began with an overview of the SERL project goals and design by SERL Director Simon Elam. Next up, SERL Research Associate Dr Ellen Webborn gave an update on participant recruitment; the content of the SERL datasets; and the SERL research programme projects.

SERL Research Fellow Dr Jessica Few then provided some early research findings from the SERL Observatory (please note that these are early findings that may be subject to change).

There followed from SERL Senior Research Associate Dr Eoghan McKenna a summary of SERL Covid-19 project work and the data governance principles underpinning SERL’s use of participants’ smart meter data.

Finally, Simon Elam gave webinar attendees an update on the latest developments on the project and a question and answer session was held in which attendees took the opportunity to discuss more specific details of SERL’s work and data with the team.
